It's January now!

Hello!
Today I am going to write to you something about my Christmas holidays and New Year's Eve and so on.

Our holidays started on the 23th December. On the 24th December is the Christmas Eve. In my family we usually decorate an evergreen tree in the night between 23th and 24th December, because my brother still beleaves in the Baby Jesus.
On the Christmas Eve we have lentil soup for lunch and all day is very peaceful and relaxing. Everything starts in the evening. My mother cooks the dinner at six o'clock. It is a slide of fish with potato salad or baked potatoes. Than we usually go to my room and I play some carols to the piano. During this the Baby Jesus rings a bell. We have our Christmas tree in a living room and my smaller brother is always as the first there. But it is getting more and more difficult to do the Baby Jesus for him.
I really love this time about Christmas because I can see all family together in a great mood. We watch fairytales together and play games.
The New Year's Eve is now something different for me. I have a small brother so we can never go to some party with my parents because of him. But now I am older so my parent let me go our with my friends. Last New Year's Eve I went to the town square where were some fireworks and there were a lot of fun. I met lots of known people and wished them lucky New year.

Project 2

Today we are doing a project number two. I am cooperating with my two classmates. We are doing a project which is called supernature (paranormal). Each of us have a different topic. My topic is magic (spiritism and elements). Dája has exorcism (it is about devil) and Evča has okultism (it is about vampires). I think it is very intersting and little terrific.

Here are some questions about my topic:
1) Spiritism - what is it?
                  - history - where it comes from? Who has set up this kind of "religion"?
2) Elements - what is it?
                  - how many elements we know?
                  - what is it represent?

A family of mice were surprised by a big cat. Father Mouse jumped and and said, "Bow-wow!" The cat ran away. "What was that, Father?" asked Baby Mouse. "Well, son, that's why it's important to learn a second language."

A: Hey, man! Please call me a taxi.
B: Yes, sir. You are a taxi.

Little Johnny: Teacher, can I go to the bathroom?
Teacher: Little Johnny, MAY I go to the bathroom?
Little Johnny: But I asked first!

Project about Canada

We had our presentation about Canada last week. We had done it a week before however someone had stolen it so we had to made a new project. We had a topic nubmer three - it means, we were teenagers from Canada who were participating in a European project and we had to represent our country.
Working on this project was very intersting because we had to speak English all the time (we had tried to :)) and we had to cooperate with each other and so on. I am always very nervours when I have to speak in front of the whole class but I have done it and it is the most important :D And I think we enjoyed it :)
Now I know a lot of new facts about Canada, states in Canada, languages in Canada, schools in Canada and so on and so on :)
